| Seattle, WA, February 17, 2010 - Holland America Line has named Jason Grant as director, fleet information technology. Grant will report to Brent Davidson, vice president, information technology. Grant will oversee all aspects of shipboard applications and technology. He also will be responsible for implementing a crew management system, system enhancements for the mariner loyalty program and outfitting the technology infrastructure for ms Nieuw Amsterdam, Holland America Line's new ship that will sail July 4, 2010. | |

| Seattle, February 9, 2010 - Vallarta Adventures, an operator of shore tours for Holland America Line, recently participated along with the Mexican navy in the rescue of an entangled humpback whale. The whale was ensnarled in fishing nets and staff of the tour company came alongside to free the creature. | |

Cascone will board the vessel March 13 in Manaus, Brazil, and sail until March 24, when the voyage ends in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Dixon will board the vessel on March 24 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and sail until April 8 when it overnights in Barcelona, Spain.
